Do you have a bunch of words or phrases that you frequently use? With the help of textBEAST, you will be able to store this text and paste it into any application you want. Do you want to check out the last 20 items you copied? The textBEAST application provides easy access to this sort of functionality as well. Last but not least, the application can also capture the whole screen or a window on your desktop.
textBEAST can be installed on numerous Windows editions, from the very old Windows 98 up to the fastest selling OS in history, Windows 7. To do so, you must first download a 4.7MB executable onto your machine. Run the exe once the download completes and a setup wizard will show up; it will aid you in installing textBEAST on your machine.
When you first launch textBEAST, you will be presented with a QuickStart Guide – it will tell you all you need to know about the application’s interface and about the functionality you can expect to get from said application. If you skip the guide and run into problems using textBEAST, access the guide from the Help menu.
You will see a bunch of text boxes on textBEAST’s interface; ech of them can contain up to 64000 characters. To add text to one of these boxes, just type it in, copy it in, or select it in another application and have textBEAST import it with a simple mouse click. Once you have the text, you can edit it and you can easily paste it into another application.
If the text you add in one of the text boxes is the URL address of a webpage, textBEAST will launch the browser and take you to that webpage.
textBEAST also keeps track of the things you copy. Click the “Clip” button from the bottom part of the application’s interface and you will see the last 20 items you copy.
Another thing you can do with the textBEAST application is capture whatever is displayed on your screen. You can capture the entire screen or just a specific window. With a simple mouse click, you can check out all the screenshots you took.
textBEAST is an exceptional text manager and its screen capture capability is a much welcomed bonus.
